Program of tour:
1 day
Arrival in Irkutsk. Meeting at the airport or railway station.
Transfer (70 km) to the settlement of Listvyanka, a fisherman village, located on the bank of Lake Baikal.
On the way:
Ritual stop at the famous rock of “Shaman”, that marks the headwaters of the Angara River flowing out of the mighty lake.
Listvyanka is 70 kilometers away from Irkutsk. A trip to Listvyanka is the easiest and the fastest way to see Baikal. A small square in the village's center is the place where you can buy the famous fish of Lake Baikal – omul or try some fish dishes in the nearest café.
Accommodation in a hotel. Lunch. After lunch we’ll go sightseeing. We’ll visit the Museum of the Lake Baikal and the trading square where you’ll see a lot of local souvenirs and smoked Baikal fish on sale.
Dinner – in your own way
2 day
Breakfast
Early in the morning a small steam engine will take you on a 6 hour ride along the legendary Circum Baikal railroad built in the end of XIXth century.
This 84 kilometers-long railroad from Kultuk to port Baikal includes 39 tunnels with the total length of 8994 meters, 14 kilometers of supporting walls, 47 stone and 3 metal galleries.
Accommodation in a local guest house in the settlement Kultuk. Dinner
3 day
Breakfast
Transfer to the bank of Lake Baikal to visit Shamansky Cape, which is considered to be a sacred place for the locals – Buryat and Evenk peoples. In the past this place was used for ceremonies and rituals. On July 7th, 2004 shamans of Buryatia, Mongolia and Tuva republic served a sacred ceremony on this cape.
Lunch. Visit to the private mineralogical museum in the town of Slyudyanka. Return back to the guest house. Free time. Dinner
4 day
Breakfast
Transfer to the Tunka valley National Park (village of Zun – Murino). It takes only a hour drive 1 from Sludyanka. Horseback riding.
This day you’ll get Khalun Nugan Forest (“Bearch Tree Forest”) where you stay for overnight in double tents.
On the way: a few stops for a short rituals and offerings to the spirits.
Dinner
5 day
Breakfast.
Ride back to the Zun-Murino village. After lunch our minibus will take you to a small settlement Arshan, located at the foot of Sayany Mountains. Accommodation in a guest house.
Walk to the mineral springs and an old Buddhist datsan.

6 day
Breakfast
The next part of your journey starts from the confluence of the rivers of Irkut and Bystraya. Preparation of catamarans. Start of rafting (3-4 hours).
There will be only a couple of rapids so you have plenty of time for hiking, photography and fishing.
Accommodation in double tents on the bank of the river. Dinner
7 day
Breakfast
This day is the most challenging part of the rafting adventure – “white water” rafting.
Lunch.

8 day
Breakfast
Rafting to the settlement of Shamanka. Packing up and transfer to Irkutsk (50 km) by minibus. Lunch Accommodation in a hotel

Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport or railway station
