Snowy Kraka

This exotic and fascinating route goes over spurs of the mountain range called Kraka-Tau covered with deep snow and the  flood lands of the Kaga River and the Belaya River. You will surely be impressed by how fast the horses run in their “winter playground”.  Blizzards playing with all the colors of rainbow, people driving a sled through the powder snow; these scenes change so quickly that it creates a very impressive perception of this part of the world.

Transfer to the settlement Kaga, the tourist centre (Bashkiriya region).
On the way you will get familiar with historical, architectural, natural sights of the Ural Mountains.

Breakfast. Getting acquainted with the history of the place and visiting the local architectural monument- the Nikolskaya Church. Excursion to the Museum of Kaga Settlement and the historical Iron Works.Trip to the Saint Spring (1km). Lunch. Familiarisation with horse gear. Trail riding. Sleighing trip. Dinner. Banya (Russian steam bath).
4 day
Breakfast.
Preparations for the sleighing trip. Sleighing trip (20 km) along the border of the Bashkir State Nature Reserve. Observing the surroundings. Lunch – picnic in the pine forest. Accommodation in the Forest Shelter: night stay in a wooden hut. Dinner.
5 day
Breakfast in the Forest Shelter. Going back to Kaga Settlement (15 km). On the way we will cross Mt.Kyzylskaya. Lunch. Tea Ceremony (herbal tea), trying Bashkir honey and balsams. Dinner. Banya.
6 day
Breakfast
Transfer to the city Ekaterinburg (the cities Chelyabinsk or Ufa are possible too).
Lunch – in the way. Free time.
Farewell dinner.
