Rafting on the River Agidel, the Southern Urals

Duration – 11 days

The tour takes place on the territory of Bashkir State Reserve and Nature Park  “Shulgan-Tash”. Here the river Belaya cuts the highest ridges of the southern Urals. High rocks, rough fords, smooth reaches, golden beaches, “velvet” glades are a pleasure to the eye and fill your soul with delight. It is the most accessible part of river for a family rest - children’s and young people's groups alike. Performance of actors with folklore program, melodious sounds of national Bashkir instruments, Bashkir kitchen and famous Bashkir honey will create a unique local “taste” during the tour. For the tourists there are Russian baths (“banya”) with unique fragrance of forest plants, specifically prepared stops, excursions to the caves and Nature Park “Shulgan-Tash”. Comfortable equipment and experienced instructors are guarantees of your enjoyment.

2 day
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the town Beloretsk (600 km).
On the way: the towns of Kasli, Kyshtym, Karabash, Miass.
Visit the cave Sugomakskaya in environs of the town Kyshtym. Lunch.
Visit to the museum of the Ilmenskij State Mineralogical Reserve (Miass).
Accommodation in the tourist centre. Dinner.
3 day
Breakfast.  Visit the museum of local lore. Excursion in the environs of the tourist centre.
Lunch. Preparing of catamarans. Dinner
4-7 days  
Rafting down the river Agidel
During the rafting you’ll visit caves, rocks, a waterfall.
Fishing, swimming. Tourist Russian baths.
Spend the night in tents at a specially prepared stops on the bank of the river Belaya.

Rest day at the Nature Park  “Shulgan-Tash”.
Excursion - Nature Park and cave Shulgan-Tash (Capova), the museum of nature and lake Ijilkysykkan. Transfer to the tourist centre.
Being a complex natural monument the Capova cave is of great interest because of its structure: multiple grottos and halls connected by passages of various levels. Total length of all the cave passages is more than 2.7 km and the total volume of the cavities - about 86000 cubic metres. The cave walls are rich in calcite sinters of all shapes and sizes. The cave has three levels. Inside the cave the river “Underground Shulgan” flows forming a Blue Lake at its entrance. In the cave scientists found rock paintings made by primitive men in the Paleolithic Epoch.
