Nyrob is the most northern settlement of Cherdyn’s district (uyezd). history of settlement connected with history of fighting for tzar’s throne in Russia. Boris Godunov deal with family of Romanov’s boyers. one of Romanov’s – Mikhail was put in irons (3 poods) and sent to Nyrob. ther he was in earthern hole during long time. Road to Nyrob was on ancient Pechora high road on way of Russian discoverers of hither to unknown lands, moving from Russian North on rivers Vishera, Pechora, Kama. Later, Nyrob road was used by Cherdyn’s merchants for trade.
