The race is the several-days running marathon on mountain terrain. All routes are marked. Routes go along mountain paths; roads can vary in terrain. Maps of routes with locations of food stops and elevation profiles for each day will be given to participants.

You must be at least 18 years old on the date of the start of the race.

RANKING GROUPS

MЕN – Men over 18 years old (1997 and older)

WOMEN –Women over 18 years old (1997 and older)

MASTER MEN – Men over 35 years old (1980 and older)

MASTER WOMEN – Women over 35 years old (1980 and older)

SENIOR MASTER MEN – Men over 50 years old (1965 and older)

SENIOR MASTER WOMEN – Women over 50 years old (1965 and older)

 *Minimum number of participants in a group is 15. The organizers reserve the right to combine groups with a small number of participants (e.g. to combine SENIOR MASTER with MASTER).

In addition to listing results by group, team results will be also provided. Team can consist of any number of athletes. Result of the team is calculated as sum of three best times of the team's representatives. You should mention the exactly name of the team you are participating in when registering.

It is possible to take part in particular days of the race. Results of participants, who register for particular days, will be not considered in the final protocol of the first stage of the TransUral race.

The leader of the group will be determined by the sum of the results of each leg. The leader should run in the yellow number tag, provided by the organizers.

The winner of the first stage is the leader of the TransUral race till the start of the second stage.

8. How to get to TransUral base camp

By car

By road Yekaterinburg - Serov till signposts ‘Chernoistochinsk’ it is 130 km away from Yekaterinburg or 15 km from Nizhnii Tagil); turn there and drive 20 km till the ski resort “Gora Belaya”. The road goes exactly to the race center.

9. Equipment

Mandatory individual equipment:

●     Mobile phone with full battery charge in a hermetic package with the number of the organizers saved in the phone's address book for emergency calls.

●     First aid kit (iodine, medical elastic band minimum 100 cm x 3 cm, bandage, adhesive plaster, painkillers)

●     Whistle

●     Compass

●     Lighter / Matches

●     Map with race route, passport of the TransUral participant, number tag (provided by organizers during the registration on the race)

●     Backpack big enough to contain the obligatory equipment, food and drink

●     Waterproof jacket with hood

●     Protective and warming thin gloves

●     Headgear – cap or bandana

●     Warm clothes (T-shirt with long sleeves and running long trousers) that can be worn under the waterproof jacket and help to keep the heat in bad weather conditions. Obligation of this equipment will be announced at a briefing before the start.

●     Trail running shoes, suitable for running on mountain terrain

●     Stock of water or refreshment drink, minimum 1 liter

●     Food for the whole distance with energy value not less than 1000 kcal

Recommended equipment:

●     Device that can receive GPS-signal for navigation in case of withdrawal from the marked route (it can be a smartphone with GPS)

●     Telescopic trekking poles

●     Sunglasses

●     Personal cup, tumbler or water bottle to collect water during the race

●     Waterproof headlamp and spare batteries sufficient for at least 18 hours of discontinued function

●     Cream to prevent abrasion

●     Rescue blanket min size 140×200 cm

10. Entry fee

Competitions are covered by the organizers, the participants’ entry fees and sponsorship.

Entry fee includes:

●     Food/water stops during the race and at finish

●     Headgear with race logo

●     Maps for each day of the race

●     Passport of the participant of TransUral

●     Number tag with race logo

●     Transfer to the start on 1st and 2nd days of the race

●     Medal (only for those who finished all legs of the stage)

●     T-shirt (only for those who finished all legs of the stage)

Participants should pay the entry fee during the 2 weeks after registration. Otherwise, the organizers have the right to cancel the application. Application is considered accepted after the payment confirmation from the organizers

Names of registered participants are published in the start list on TransUral’s web-page.

Cancelation of the registration is possible:

●     until 1st of May 100% of entry fee will be refunded in this case.

●     until 1st of July 2015 50% of entry fee will be refunded in this case.

●     If registration is cancelled after the 1st of July 2015 entry fee will not be refunded.

After the 1st of July registration is possible by the decision of the organizers if there are free places.

In case of withdrawal from the race, the entry fee is not compensated

Transfer Yekaterinburg – Ski resort – Yekaterinburg should be ordered during the on-line registration. The payment should be done at the event center before the race. Approximate price is 20euro rubles per person.

●     Via transfer to bank account. Bank account details will be sent to the email address of the participant on request.

11. Accommodation

The event center is located in the ski resort “Gora Belaya”.

The next accommodation options are available in the event center:

   1. Сamping. This is campground with outdoor shower facilities, bio-toilets, outdoor lighting, fire places, drinking water supply. Accommodation in Сamping is included into start packages CAMP.

   2. Hotel. Rooms are equipped with single- and double beds, wardrobe, bedside table, phone, TV, fridge, teapot. There are shared shower and WC at each room. Price is 20 euro per 1 person/1 day. Food is not included.

In addition to staying in the ski resort, the next accommodation options are available:

●     You can set up your own tent in the camp in the forest and on the lake shore.

●     Private rooms and houses in the village Uralskii (2 km from base camp). Prices are varied and start from 300 rubles/place without food. If you are interested in this option, please, tell us about it in your registration form and we will help you with booking.
